Coming from a big family in the Philippines, family is one of the most significant parts of Dr. Dancel-Beal's life. When not working, she values spending time with them and is always eager for the occasional trip to the Philippines to visit and reconnect with more family members.
When not spending time with the whole family, Dr. Dancel-Beal and her husband enjoy being in nature and participating in outdoor activities together, such as hiking, camping, kayaking, and mountain biking. She also enjoys other leisure activities, like reading, cooking, printmaking, and painting.
